Standard Test Methods for Downhole Seismic Testing ASTM D7400

These test methods are limited to the determination of the interval velocities from arrival times and relative arrival times of compression (P) and vertically (SV) and horizontally (SH) polarized shear (S) seismic waves which are generated near surface and travel down to an array of vertically installed seismic sensors. A preferred method intended to obtain data for use on critical projects where the highest quality data is required is included. Also included is an optional method intended for use on projects which do not require measurements of a high degree of precision.

پروژه مربوط به پل دوم پیننگ ( از استانهای مالزی ) است که قبل پل اول آن در دهه ی 80 توسط مهاتیر محمد( نخست وزیر محبوب مالزی) افتتاح شد و وی با اولین اتومبیل ساخت شرکت پروتون از روی آن گذر کرد.

تاریخچه حفر گمانه بسیار قدیمی است و پیشینیان برای جستجوی آب دردشتها و دره ها به حفر گمانه می پرداخته اند و چون تلمبه اختراع نشده بود، در اغلب موارد آب از چاه (گمانه) به صورت آرتزین خارج شده ویا چهارپایان کار آبکشی را انجام می دادند.

تا آنجا که تاریخ نشان می دهد قدیمیترینگمانه ها درچین حفر شده وسیستم حفاری ضربه ای که امروزه در حفر گمانه مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد، همان طریقه قدیمی است که در چین متداول بوده است. برای حفر گمانه به اعماق مختلف ، اقطار و در سنگهای گوناگون ، وسایل و تجهیزات و ماشین آلات حفاری در انواع و استانداردهای مختف با تکنولوژیهای گوناگون متداول است.
