جزوه اجزاء محدود پیشرفته پروفسور عیسی سلاجقه در یازده  فصل و با حل مثال های متعدد گردآوری شده است. در فصل اول به بررسی المان های پوسته پرداخته شده و ضمن معرفی المان پوسته مسطح و روابط مربوط به آن، مطالبی درباره ماتریس های انتقال و نحوه انتقال بار ها در این المان بیان شده است و در ادامه کد متلب آن به همراه روند گام به گام نوشتن برنامه قرار دارد. در انتهای این فصل نیز روابط مربوط به پوسته با تقارن محوری ارائه گردیده است. در فصل دوم بحث درونیاب ها  و نکات ویژه مربوط به آن بررسی شده است. در فصل های سوم و چهارم روابط گالرکین در حل مسائل مقدار مرزی یک بعدی و دو بعدی ارائه شده  و در ادامه  در فصل های پنجم، ششم، هفتم و هشتم به  فرمول بندی مختلط و استفاده از آنها در تحلیل المان تیر، اجسام سه بعدی، اجسام غیر فابل تراکم و ورقها پرداخته شده است. در انتهای این جزوه نیز مطالبی درباره آزمون وصله، بهبود سازی تطبیقی و اندرکنش بیان گردیده است. امید است که مطالب (جزوه توسط آقایان سبحان رستمی و علی معین الدینی)گردآوری شده در این جزوه برای دانشجویان گرامی سودمند باشد...

With the authors experience of teaching the courses on Finite Element Analysis to undergraduate and postgraduate students for several years, the author felt need for writing this book. The concept of finite element analysis, finding properties of various elements and assembling stiffness equation is developed systematically by splitting the subject into various chapters.
The method is made clear by solving many problems by hand calculations. The application of finite element method to plates, shells and nonlinear analysis is presented. After listing some of the commercially available finite element analysis packages, the structure of a finite element program and the desired features of commercial packages are discussed.

About the Author:
Dr. S.S. Bhavikatti studied at BVB College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli for his BE (Civil) degree and graduated from Karnataka University, Dharwad in 1963, sharing first rank with another candidate. The same year he joined Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal (presently NITK, Surathkal), as a teacher. He secured ME degree in Structural Engineering in 1967 from University of Roorkee, Roorkee (presently IIT Roorkee) under Technical Teachers Training Programme and Ph.D. degree in 1977 from IIT Delhi under Quality Improvement Programme. He served at NITK, Surathkal in different capacities like Head of Civil Engineering Department, Chairman, Center for Continuing Education, Chairman, Central Computer Center and Dean (Administration). From November 2001 to November 2005, he served at SDM College of Engineering, Dharwad. He also served at RYMEC, Bellary as Principal for 1 year 9 months. Presently he is Emeritus Fellow, the Fellowship offered by AICTE, New Delhi and now is serving at BVB College of Engg. and Tech., Hubli. He has published more than 60 technical papers and 17 books. He has guided 62 students for M.Tech. thesis and 5 students for Ph.D. He was a member of organising/scientific committees of international seminars organised by IASS held at Taegue (South Korea) in 1990, Tokyo (Japan) in 1993 and Taipei (Taiwan) in 1997. He is also a member of several Indian and international professional bodies.
