کتاب بسیار عالی در زمینه اثرات انفجارات هسته ای ،با توجه به قدیمی بودن ولی هنوز در بین تمامی کتب موجود از سطح علمی بالای برخودار است .مطالب به طور ساده بیان شده اند و برای کسب دانش اولیه در زمینه انفجار بسیار مفید می باشد.بخش 4 کتاب به بارگذاری انفجار روی سازه می پردازد و بخش های دیگر به بررسی انفجار در خاک و آب پرداخته است که البته برای بحث تخصصی تر باید به کتب رفرنس نظیر انفجار در آب کول و انفجار در خاک مراجعه نمود
