The program FIDES-BearingCapacity enables you to analyse bearing capacity failures of plain foundations due to DIN 4017/DIN 4017-100 in a comfortable application. The analysis method rests on the assumption of approximately direction independent shear parameters for all concerned soil layers. The basic equations for the analysis due to DIN 4017/DIN 4017-100 you will find in chapter "General bearing capacity failure equation" on page 24 You can make verifications for every common types of foundations (rectangle circle- and strip foundations). The program considers an aribtrary amount of soil layers, and also ground water level.
